Set of 4 antique French gilt metal wrapped wood mouldings sourced through a to-the-trade importer of European antiques. Ecclesiastical in origin, possibly from a chateau's private family chapel, having a cross and oculus motif (see detail photo). Lovely to display as-is or to create an one-of-a-kind mirror/art frame or table edge. Total of 20.5 linear feet of moulding. No maker's marks.
Dimensions: Total length 20.5 linear feet (246 linear inches); 2 longer pieces, 3.75"W x 1"D x 72"H; 2 shorter pieces 3.75"W x 1"D x 51"H.
As-found condition with some fasteners on back, finish wear.
