Katia Langeard is a ceramic artist and designer living and working in France, Èze. She has grown up in a creative environment in a family of architects, surrounded by the paintings, sculptures, furniture and lighting created by her grandfather, acclaimed soviet architect Oleg Goryachev. She studied architecture in Moscow Architectural Institute (State Academy) and devoted many years to career in architecture and interior design in Russia and Europe leaving her native country in 2012.

​In 2019 – 2023 she was learning pottery at the studio of Stephane Montalto, winner of Best Craftsman of France (MOF). Starting 2023 she is opened her studio and creating ceramic lighting and small furniture influenced by her architectural background.

​She participated in ceramic residency in Vallauris, had one solo show in Brussels and number of group expositions internationaly. Her works are located in A.I.R. Vallauris public collection and in private collections in France. Signed by Maker,
