There is a lock, but no key to support it, assuming one can get a skeleton key for it, but it has a festoon detail floral fauna or cornucopia details to it. In great condition, no chips, cracks nor flea bites to crystal, while patina to the mounts a given, and conducive to era, with normal use. Otherwise a delectable accent box for any female, a gift, wedding or personal or for friend, that wife and/or girlfriend and fiance' The box has a Marie Antoinette era and feel. See less
