Acquired in … Read more Offering a wonderful mid-20th century oil on canvas landscape still life by French Canadian artist Roger Berthiaume (1927-2016). Acquired in the Laurentian Mountains of Quebec, Canada. This lovely little vintage piece captures the quiet of country life with a soft, earthy color palette and attention to detail. Although suitable for framing, I love incorporating smaller unframed works into my design landscapes, and this little darling is perfect for casual display on a bookshelf, table, or countertop (either by itself or using a tabletop easel).
