We love this extraordinary combined nutcracker and two tiered walnut bowl for the unique and attractive utilitarian design and quality.
The wood is smooth and if one looks carefully with the bowl upside-down, it can be detected the bowl is not exactly perfectly round, indicating the hand turning and personal touch of the artist. This piece is signed D'ack Rolison. The ships helm is brass and turns to crack nuts if this lovely piece of art will be used.
This nutcracker art was discovered at an estate sale in a lovely exclusive Catalina Mountains sub-division in Tucson, AZ
