Rare wall lamp mod 1461 Dahlia designed by Max Ingrand for Fontana Arte in 1955.

Excellent condition.
Celebrated master of art glass, Max Ingrand grew up admiring the stained glass windows of Chartres Cathedral, his first real source of inspiration. Through continuous research on the technique of acid and sand engraving, he achieves a refinement of masterful craft. He arrived at the artistic direction of FontanaArte in the mid-1950s, becoming the protagonist of the transition to industrial production and licensing some of the most original solutions ever created.
Fontana Arte is an Italian company founded in Milan in 1932 by Luigi Fontana and Giò Ponti and specialized in glass processing and the creation of furnishing accessories. It is known for the processing of curved glass and for the production of lighting equipment, becoming over the years the most important company for Italian design.
