Early 20th Century Empire Revival Swedish Birch Bookcase, Circa 1900
Superb quality piece of Swedish-made furniture with influences from the Biedermeier and Empire periods.
Stepped top with an ebonized plinth, featuring a further ebonized element on the architectural top. The main body is fitted with four original shelves, veneered in matching wood, providing plenty of space for a book collection or decorative items. Slightly rounded edges on the sides. Stands on a plinth base.
Original rich color. Very minor surface marks to the woodwork.
