This is a white gravy boat with an attached underplate marked The Ironstone China and Matsumra & Co. I have not found any data on the company or a pattern name or age. The gravy boat is white with pink, blue and purple flowers on one side and a leaf on the other. It is trimmed in gold and the flowers are hand painted.
The gravy boat measures 7.75 inches from spout to spout by 4.00 inches at the rim. The underplate is 9.00 inches by 5.75 inches. Height at the top edge is about 3.75 inches.
The dish is marked Hand Painted. I do have other pieces in this set.
The gold trim is not worn, but uneven in places.
The set has no chips, cracks, crazing or other damage. The mark is shown.
