Brilliant heliogravure print printed in 1958.

Saint Sebastian pierced by arrows but fully clothed.

This is a beautiful altarpiece representing St Sebastian as created by the Avignon School. It is a tip in print heliogravure print mounted on a paper board. It was printed in Switzerland by Albert Skira, the famous art publisher.

The print is captioned in English on the mounting board.

Although 60 years old the print looks brand new. It has never been framed.

Painted with gold ground as was the custom in 1400 France.
