The … Read more A delicate and elegant mid-century floor lamp from the 1950s, designed and executed by rupert nikoll in vienna, austria. The lamp is made of brass and features a lovely curved brass base. Its lampshade has an unusual conical yet asymmetrical shape. The shade is height-adjustable using a mechanism very similar to that of the "dornstab" floor lamp by j.t. Kalmar. Therefore, the lamp is very well suited as a reading lamp. It is in good condition and has been newly rewired with a fabric cord. The lampshade has been professionally restored in a refined, elegant light grey fabric, while the original frame has been carefully preserved to maintain its authentic proportions and measurements. In the style of josef frank, haus & garten, svenskt tenn. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
