This is a fantastic, matched pair of children being protected by their mythical or imaginative cats of the jungle. The tiger and lion are each ferociously snarling with their tiny companions. The patina and condition of the bronze is a deep, oiled patina and can be used inside or outside. They are in good original condition with their original dust which we will clean. These will definitely make a statement. They date to the 1890s era and are extremely naturalistic. They were in a Christie's sale many years ago and were out of a Hyde Park NY estate
The tiger measures 43.5 tall x 23.5 x 50.5 deep and the lion is 43.5 tall x 23.5 wide x 42 deep. They are hundreds of pounds each and can be used outside.
