As pretty as a summer's day. This is a gorgeous set of glasses and decanter with a the most amazing bottle stopper! This set is the real deal, with the paper label miraculously still attached. Honestly, I don't think this set has ever been used. The spelling on the label is "Roumania" borrowing from the French dates this set pre-1975, guaranteeing this is not a reproduction. It's mid-century vibe dates it to around the 1950-60's? Maybe even the popular Hollywood Regency era?
This set would be a beautiful addition to your summer tablescape or sideboard. The delicately handpainted flower motif is 22k gold! It may be just me, but sipping a cold ice wine on a hot summer day with this glass in your hand would be heaven.
Measurements: Decanter w/stopper is approximately 15" Tall (Bottle w/out stopper is 12" Tall) x and approximately 5 1/2" Diameter. Cordial Glasses are 6 1/2" Tall x 2 7/8" Diameter x Base 2 5/8" Diameter, volume is about 5 ounces.
