A large Dutch art deco table lamp made from wood carved oak, ca. 1930. Total height 100 cm. The base has a sculptural design and there are black lacquered scalloped details around the base, characteristic for Amsterdam School Art Deco design. The lamp dates from ca. 1920-1930. The lampshade is not the original one, but it was especially designed in the style of the era and suits the lamp very well.
Electrical wiring has been renewed (post 1960s) and is in good working order. Fitting is made from bakelite.
Works with one E27 lightbulb and has a European plug. The base is 65 cm in height, has a diameter of 25 cm, the lampshade has a a diameter of 35 cm.
European Plug (up to 250V).The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
