The wonderful cherry wood together with the design typical of the period characterize this piece of furniture. The warm tone of the cherry wood under the shellac polish rounds off the pleasant appearance. It should be noted that the chest of drawers is in very good condition. It was recently restored, with all necessary woodwork carried out and the chest of drawers then carefully given a new surface with a hand-applied shellac polish.
