This exquisite art deco flush mount ceiling fixture, in a classic wedding cake or waterfall form, features a blind fretwork gilded brass base with a deeply carved geometric relief motif, a row of crystal pendants over a row of oval faceted beads, and a lower row of pendants terminating in a 1 3/4” large spherical ball.

These ceiling fixtures were reclaimed from one of the original apartment buildings on Central Park South. The building was designed in the early 1900’s with a neo-Renaissance palazzo exterior by James Carpenter, architect of some of NYC’s most iconic luxury residential buildings. The building, with jaw-dropping views sweeping Central Park’s southern tip, was redesigned by renowned architect Costas Kondylis in 2005.

Four ceiling fixtures are available for sale. This listing is for the smaller-sized fixture, measuring 12 3/4” diameter x 9” height with double-tiers of crystals, which is being offered for $2,195.00. In a separate listing, three larger-sized fixtures, measuring 13 1/2” diameter x 13” height with triple-tiers of crystals, are being offered at $2,395.00 for each light fixture.

These fixtures are superbly crafted, and are in very good pre-owned condition. They are wired and installation-ready. Each fixture accepts four light bulbs.
