(wurttenbergische metallwarenfabric) the set is in used condition and not boxed the blades of the forks and knives are marked. The mark i/o = normal thickness of gilding or silver-plating the wmf mark "ostrich", if there is not enough space for marking, then the special "small marks" should be applied. In this period, wmf factory used in such cases the standard cutlery mark, namely, the "ostrich" image in horizontal rhombus. And was used throughout 1903-1910. Before the foundation of wmf, daniel straub had founded his first manufacturing company, maschinenfabrik geislingen. In 1880, the company merged with metallwarenfabrik ritter & co. From esslingen to form the public limited company württembergische metallwarenfabrik (wmf) in geislingen. The measurement is 20 cm long and apron 1,5 cm diagonal. The weight is total 1245 grams this piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
