Sustainably made from a vintage Japanese silk obi (used to tie kimono) dating from the Mid-Showa period (1970s). The obi is made from cream silk with woven figures, trees and buildings in pinks, oranges, yellows and greens. Originating from Nishijin, the famous textile quarter in Kyoto, Japan where textiles have been produced since the 5th Century. The pillow is finished with a mustard velvet reverse.
