This abstract expressionist work is infused with both the charged energy and tranquility of the river and the calming nature of the palisade mountains and serenity of the valley at sunset. Using boldly layered oil pigments and a serene palette of pinks, lavender, rose and reds, Monica aims to capture an ethereal landscape. This richly textured painting is an explosion of color that is both exciting and calming. Using strokes of vibrant blues, layered with joyful pink, purple and lavender and textured white with hints of yellow and teal like you might find with a summer sunset, this abstract painting creates a sense of balance and invites nature into your space.
