Top sits on base but is not connected, which makes it much easier to move the table. Has a beautiful Vintage white finish with gold trim. Base is wooden and possibly another durable material. Was purchased new and has been in the same family for 50 years. It has looked absolutely beautiful in our home with flowers on top. See less
