Produced by Sidway Elkhart of Chicago as a hospital bed table, this very versatile and robust serving table from around 1900 has an ornamental cast iron base with two fixed feet and two on wheels, a patinated wooden top and a functional gear and spring mechanism. The top rotates 180 degrees to either side, is adjustable for height and tilts to any angle.

Produced by Sidway Elkhart from Chicago as an innovative hospital bed side table, this practical small piece of furniture has multiple uses in the modern household. The table is narrow, robust and maneuverable as well as foldable, tiltable and height-adjustable and stands on an embossed cast iron frame with two fixed feet and two wheels. The shelf is made of white painted wood. Beautiful patina on this almost 120 year old piece of furniture.
