Pair of brass wall lights with Louis XVI glass decorations
Refined pair of wall lamps with a typical balloon shape; the structure, in golden brass, is enriched with refined decorations of lead crystals, cut, ground and faceted, joined manually by metal wires. The whole thing forms a waterfall of shining beauty.
The structure of the two appliques is the classic and iconic balloon one, called in French "sac-à-perle" born under the reign of Louis XIV but which had its apogee during the period of Louis XVI.
The wall lamps have a single light point, but when they are turned on, the cut crystals refract the light with infinite facets, and enchanting reflections are created which enhance their decorative effect.
