The chairs feature … Read more Bespoke set of eight handsome dining chairs crafted in the country French provincial or Louis XV taste. The chairs feature a large carved beech wood frame painted with an intentionally aged distressed patina on the finish. The set consists of six side chairs and two host armchairs measuring 24 wide by 26 inches deep having 26 inch high flat arms. The tall 46 inch backs have a humped crest. The generous seats are thickly padded with a distinctive serpentine ribbon carved apron. The chairs are supported by elegant cabriole style legs. Sturdy and strong with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The frames are upholstered with a plush jacquard fabric having a pattern of shields, crests, and scrolls. The fabric is in very good condition with an intentionally faded, aged patina to mimic age.
