A 1958 Glyndebourne Opera programme with a cover design by Oliver Messel. Messel designed the set and costumes for the season's productions of Le Nozze di Figaro, Comte Ory and Ariadne auf Naxos. Other operas staged in 1958 were Falstaff (designed by Osbert Lancaster), Alceste, The Rake's Progress (also Lancaster) and Il Segreto di Susanna. The programme includes articles, synopses and contemporary adverts.
