Antique Plaster Statue of a Breeding Stallion - by Max Landsberg 1899
Antique plaster statue of a stallion, made by Max Landsberg (1850 - 1906), a German sculptor from Berlin. The stallion is black and stands on a green pedestal. The sculpture depicts 'Andreas' which was a famous breeding stallion in the 19th century. The live dates of the stallion, the owner and the artist are engraved on the base. A wonderful antique showcase object.
