A pair of Frederick Cooper Polly by Night table lamps (MY126B). Hand toned cast brass with two horizontal bulbs on top and a tiny (night light) lantern suspended from a branch. These lamps are immaculate and perfectly functional. 29" High.
In 1923, Frederick Cooper, a Chicago artist, established a studio to create beautiful sculpture and watercolor paintings and was drawn to the still fairly new invention of lamps. Through the mixing media of brass, fabric, glass and wood, Cooper created exquisitely designed lamps that matched the swift innovation in American architecture. Today, Frederick Cooper stands for superlative design and traditional craftsmanship. There is no compromise in the integrity of media – pure brass, genuine wood and exotic fabrics.
