Offering this adorable French hanging light for your small entryway, dressing room, hallway, or other petite area.
This light presents best with a clear bulb, as the filament will create nice sparkle through the clear parts of the shade.
That shade! What a beauty! Classic stepped Art Deco design, what we in the U.S. typically refer to as "wedding cake." Upside-down weddings?
Use any wattage you want, as the heat escapes through the opening at the top of the shade. Rewired and fitted with a standard-based American keyless socket (brand new).
Dimensions: about 16 inches in length, the shade being about 5 inches in diameter. The very small canopy is about 3 3/4 in diameter. To cover the electrical box just buy a round "box cover" at your hardware store and go from there. Typically French, this hangs by a hook attached to the inside of the canopy, as shown in the photo.
The metal is iron and has a rusty finish. You can enhance this by waxing it as it is or by applying a little elbow grease and steel wool or a scotch pad.
