Cut from heavy, high-quality lead crystal, this large square box showcases the Viscaria pattern—distinguished by deeply cut arches, diamond points, and floral sprays—with a striking etched floral motif adorning the lid. The lid features finely engraved flowers in bloom, rendered in frosted relief that contrasts beautifully with the sharp brilliance of the rest of the cut glass. The sides are richly detailed with alternating arched panels and hobstar-like textures, cut into the base is a radiant starburst pattern, refracting light from below to illuminate the entire box.
