Excellent example of Harvey Probber's Model 819R dining table No. 1287. Rare and beautiful completely refinished book-matched Brazilian rosewood top, apron, and leaves. Complimented by elegant brass stretchers and mahogany legs. Comes with 2 leaves- each 16" wide. Iconic and RARE Harvey Probber design.
This wood on this piece has been expertly and beautifully refinished by a top refinisher in the Hudson Valley region. The finish is a subtly matte finish which is the original finish on this piece. The leaves were also restored in order to perfectly match this table. The grain in the rosewood of this particular piece is vibrant and incredible.
The brass details have been kept original to show the incredible beauty of the age of the table
This table is ready to place as it is and incredibly lovely in person.
