Interesting California modernist hand carved walnut abstract figural sculpture by D. Williams, circa 1980's. Sculpture measures 16.5" tall by 7" wide by 7" deep and is signed on the front of the base D. Williams, as pictured. Piece has a 1930's inspired WPA/Brutalist esthetic to it.
Visible cracks were intentionally inherent to the fabrication of the piece and are very stable.
In very good condition with age (over 40 years old) appropriate wear.
