The three minor and one major border all enclose the main ground and create a wonderfully gentle look in this delightful piece. The rug-weaving town of Oushak is in west-central Anatolia, approximately 100 miles south of Istanbul. It's believed weaving began there during the 15th and 16th centuries. See less
