This is an excellent example of the iconic Mazzega lamp from the 1970s , made of murano glass designed by Toni Zuccheri in the 1960s. The cloud effect and orange color feature in the glass give the lamp a nice warm glow when lit. The style was inspired by the space age with references to orbiting planets . The chrome metal detail gives the lamp a modern industrial look that would look good in a modern kitchen or loft-style living room.
This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
