A set of four "Gondola" dining chairs by Pietro Costantini. Italy, 1980s. Black lacquered wood. Very attractive design. Comfortable seating. Thick original upholstery from the 1980s. Slight signs of wear in the lacquer, consistent with age. Elegant aesthetics. The color of the upholstery changes from a light to a darker lilac tone depending on the incidence of light. The cover is made of soft velour fabric. The family business has been in existence since 1922 and is famous for its innovative furniture designs and excellent manufacturing quality.
