Playful loose brushwork creates the “X” graphic known to represent a kiss. Did you know that this comes from people who couldn't write would sign documents with an "X" and then kissing it as a sign of sincerity; essentially “sealing it with a kiss. ” The “O” graphic which symbolizes the circular motion of arms wrapping around someone in a hug. Commonly used in the phrase "XOXO" which means "hugs and kisses."
