This stunning large antique mirror dates back to France, circa 1880, and is crowned with a beautifully ornate crest adorned with delicate foliage. The gold gilt frame is structurally sound, with a classic "string of pearls" motif accentuating the inner rim for an elegant touch. Subtle hints of red bole peek through the gold leaf gilding, lending a warm depth to its rich golden hue and flower and leaf etchings. Retaining its original mirror plate and wooden back cladding, the glass remains in excellent, clear condition, showing only some tiny weathered spots that add to its charm. Generously sized, this mirror can stand on the ground, offering a full-length reflection.
