A dramatic and sculptural matched pair of Jet Age Atomic Modern twin shade sconce style wall lamps in rare "Salmon" … Read more A dramatic and sculptural matched pair of Jet Age Atomic Modern twin shade sconce style wall lamps in rare "Salmon" Red color designed by Gerald Thurston and manufactured by Lightolier lighting circa 1950's. Comprised of thick Phenolic Plastic shades and metal hardware wall mount all very well engineered and machined. Each shade can be adjusted to angle and rotate in various directions via the articulating Brass collar joint at the shade connections. Lightolier logo is clearly visible on top of each rotating switch knob and power plug. The paleish Red Salmon color of these is very rare due to a limited production life so to find a match pair in such fine condition is an opportunity that your not likely to see again...it does not get any better! These striking and impressive wall lamps are in excellent original condition, completely intact and fully functional. Very mild signs of usage wear to original "Salmon" Red enamel finish with no evidence of abuse or damage aside from a little light fading from heat in a few areas of the shades and some small scratches/knicks to the enamel finish here and there. Turn knob switched sockets & wiring are original and all have been inspected to be clean, safe and functional. These can be simply wall mounted with their included power cords and brackets or hardwired to a wall box fixture if one chooses
