Beautiful Antique/Vintage 2-Tier Table. The style is traditional Chippendale. The use of these tables has been known by many different names such as "Parlor", "Butler", "Dumbwaiter", "Tea", "Dessert", "Side", "Buffet" and "Occasional"; however, it is commonly referred to as "Pie Crust" because each tier has a raised edge, as a pie crust might have.
This table most likely was produced in the early 20th century by the renowned J. B. Mersman Company. The style number "2025" is stamped on the underside. The mahony wood has an appealing dark rich burgundy color. The patina shines in its perfection.
There are four curved legs, each leg with decorative carved leaf designs. All four of the clawed feet are also in fine condition.
