Appears to be carved from solid walnut. Impressive sculptural animalier studies with deep relief and beautiful detailing to the manes. In overall good antique condition with general wear commensurate with age and use. One of the lions having a lack to the upper corners of the escutcheon motif on top, visible in the photos. Measures 12" length x 10" width x 4 1/4" deep. See less
