Description - A pair of deep U-shaped cups very finely painted with the scene of Jia Chang stamping his left foot to call the chickens in a setting of blue rocks and peonies. Jia Chang is shown facing the rooster while the hen and four chicks are shown on the reverse below a lengthy poetic inscription, a Qianlong Fanggu mark to their bases however we feel they are of a later period.
Age - Republic Period circa 1911 - 1949
Size - Approximately 2 + 3/4 inches tall by 3 + 1/4 inches diameter.
Condition - Age appropriate, we find no chips or cracks, see photos for complete assessment.
