This is a white porcelain, three piece covered cheese dish by Charles Ahrenfeldt of France. It includes the base dish, the strainer insert and the lid in a matching, but unknown, pattern.
The base dish measures not quite 8.00 inches across with a center width of 5.00 inches. The strainer insert is 4 3/8 inches wide. The entire piece is about 4.25 inches to the top of the handle.
I do not know the pattern name, but the back stamp is dated 1894 to 1930.
There are no chips, cracks, or other damage.
