Originating from Turkey circa 1950-1960, this is an especially uncommon piece in both oversized length and beauty—a design both atypifying, while exemplifying, aesthetics of its lineage.

On the Design:

This piece sketch enjoys a series of repeating hexagonal medallions on the field, encasing traditional motifs in rich red and gold with a subtle, positive-negative element of off-white and black. Among many other vibrant colorway accents, the pattern displays impeccable movement while remaining outlined with cultural symbols & florals in a delicious, warm colorway.
