Clean lined silhouettes, with sculptured Neoclassical-Empire style busts. These Kreiss chests were re-imagined and customized exclusively for THE TASTEMAKER SHOPPE. A soft white, matte-paint & wax finish was applied to the drawer fronts. They feel fresh & more modern having a sleeker, solid, bright colored contrast between the original, (intentionally) patinated, leather frames and newly painted drawers. The wax-finish gives the paint a subtle movement, tying in with the leather’s natural characteristics.

The leather tops, sides, and posts maintain original toled, embossed gold motifs framing the outer edges. A contrasting, subdued black, matte-wax finish was applied to the shiny brass busts & sandaled feet, bringing their features to life! This one-of-a-kind pair is a rare find—ideal for those who seek timeless design with a modern edge.
