Antique 2 Piece Cherry Sheraton Plantation Desk with 12 Pane Top Original Seeded Glass 1840s
An antique two piece cherry Sheraton style plantation slant lid desk with a twelve pane top. Older refinish. Dates back to the 1840s era. Top has its original cove style crown moulding with twelve original seeded glass pane top doors. Old wall paper is on the inside backboards. 10 inch deep wall out. 9 inches deep inside. It is 43.50 inches wide. It is 47.50 inches wide at the crown. The top is 45 inches tall.
Bottom is 34 inches tall by 24 inches deep wall out. 79 inches tall when assembled. Fold out desk lid is 30 inches tall from the floor. One hand dove tailed interior drawer and cubby holes. The turned legs are 2 inches in diameter. Guesstimated weight is 175 pounds. Perfect to utilize as a bookcase. Ready for your home or office. Inv. eec
