The design of the rug we lend was developed during the Basic Course held by Johannes Itten at the Bauhaus in Weimar in 1920. Since it cannot be attributed with certainty to Itten as it is unsigned, it is assumed to have been executed by one of the students in the course, who remained anonymous. See less
