A pair of Charles Dudouyt fireplace chairs, crafted from beechwood with rush seats, were produced in France during the 1940s. Known as "Fire Side" chairs, they feature low seats and beautifully carved frames. These chairs have been cleaned and waxed while retaining their original condition, showing some wear and a lovely patina. These armchairs are made in Normandy and have round legs constructed from solid beechwood. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
