This 26-piece coffee and chocolate set dates to the French Empire period and showcases exceptional gilt detailing and hand-painted genre scenes throughout. Provenance from a Greenwich, CT prominent collector's estate, unmarked.

Each piece is richly enameled with romantic vignettes — shepherds, musicians, and pastoral figures — framed by matte gilt panels. The color palette, form, and level of detail are classic Old Paris: refined, collectible, and rare to find at this scale.
