Point-of-reference: the Van Cleef & Arpels "Alhambra" collection is a jewelry line originally created in the 60's that features a four-leaf clover shape (see last pic). The name comes from the Alhambra Palace in Granada, Spain. The collection's design is inspired by the palace's Moorish quatrefoil decorations, which are considered a symbol of Good Luck. The lamps sculptural surface is glazed with a beautiful Celedon gloss finish that heightens the dimensions dramatically. Completed with brilliant Mahogany wood & Brass trim which mounts a contemporary White Linen shade that compliments the shape and glaze perfectly while casting an ideal ambience upon its shapely form.
