A stylish pewter dish with fish shaped finial, designed by the Danish jeweler and sculptor Just Andersen in the 1930s. The fish is beautifully but simply modeled and has a definite Art Deco feel.
Just Andersen operated from 1884 - 1943. Believed to be made in the late 1930s the dish has a concave bowl with a round plinth in the centre that is topped with a pewter fish finial. The base is incised "JUST" within the triangular "hat" mark and serial number "1656"
