Here we have a beautiful vintage Baker mahogany Chippendale style writing desk or console table from their Historical Charleston collection … Read more Here we have a beautiful vintage Baker mahogany Chippendale style writing desk or console table from their Historical Charleston collection which began in 1976. Superb quality, made in America with many fabulous details: two dovetailed drawers with lovely fretwork, detailed moldings all around, more fabulous fretwork on all legs, brass lion's head ring pulls, and moulded Marlborough style legs/feet. Nothing is missing, this table desk is finished on all four sides so it can be floated in the middle of a room. Measurements are 48" wide x 22" deep x 30" tall. The knee clearance is 23.75" high and there's 33" width between the fretwork. A great size for an entry table or sofa console as well.

PLEASE NOTE: The finish is all original, as such there are some scratches and minor scuffs to the top writing surface and a chair scrape to the front left leg. I have photographed these issues. Please examine the pics carefully and feel free to ask questions. Even with these issues, it's still a gorgeous writing desk after all these years... thanks for looking!!! See less
