Chinese Tripod Censer, White Glazed Porcelain
Exquisite and rare censer with lid in pristine vintage condition. Tripod censer that features octagon shaped double handles. The laughing Foo dog is nestled on top of the lid. The “Made in China” sticker is on the bottom (pictured). Peeling of the sticker has started on one side but remains in-tact.
The porcelain is white glazed and there are no signs of age-related chipping or crazing on the piece.
The stick style incense hole in in the bottom middle and you can see it in the photos without the lid. The item has most likely never been used as there are absolutely no burn marks inside or other signs of use.
Truly beautiful and would make an excellent addition to a collection or gift.
Height with lid on is 7 inches
Side to side (end of handle to end of other handle is 8 inches)
With lid off, the opening measures at 5 inches circumference
Each leg is approximately 1 1/2 inches
