Originally sourced in Portugal, these encrusted oyster pots are nature's art creation.
These highly unique, vintage pottery pieces were originally used to harvest octopuses in Portugal. After being strung together in shallow waters to encourage the creatures to move in, oysters then began to thrive on the surface of and inside the pottery over time. These once functional pieces now make for very interesting additions to homes or gardens.
These totally unique objects would make the perfect addition to so many environments...from coastal to farmhouse and everything in between. Think grotto chic! I have 24 units in inventory.
